Summary:

This project involved the design and construction of a LEED Certified research and development facility for SSAB of Iowa. The facility spans 27,000 square feet, featuring 14,500 square feet of office and laboratory space, 10,500 square feet of high bay area, and 2,000 square feet of storage. An additional 4,300 square feet is planned for future expansion. The scope of construction encompassed all site work, including parking, site utilities, building shell and finishes, as well as mechanical, electrical, security camera, and access control systems. It also included locker rooms, storage areas, and IT infrastructure.
